About the Founder
Thomas Naylor is the founder of Ke Nui Kitchen and Thomas Naylor LLC. Thomas was raised in the restaurant business. Starting with his grandfather Tiny, and continuing with his father and uncles, the Naylor name is synonymous with food culture and business dating back to 1924 in California and Nevada. Thomas has over eleven years of experience in the food & special events industry. On the North Shore and rippling throughout Oahu, Thomas has garnered a reputation for excellence in culinary services, and most notably a commitment to his clientele.

Ke Nui Kitchen is a full service catering company located at Waimea Valley on the fabled North Shore of Oahu. Created in 2012 by Executive Chef Thomas Naylor, Ke Nui Kitchen continues to excel at providing creative and elegant dishes executed with locally sourced ingredients and farm-to-table cuisine. With island and regional influences, prepared with KNK’s attention to detail, they provide an unforgettable experience.
Catered events range from large Corporate events to Weddings, private chef experiences and large festivals. Ke Nui Kitchen is highly sought out for the elevated food experience and are known for their expertise in South American, New American, Mediterranean and Pacific Rim cuisine with an infusion of Hawaiian flavors and pratices. Flavors are bold, presentation is artistic and service is unparalleled.
All menu items are created from scratch. Every sauce is thoughtfully prepared in the kitchen—no cans, bottles or frozen food. Sustainability is a priority. Ke Nui Kitchen uses local fisherman, and all ingredients are locally sourced from surrounding farms and use practices that are environmentally sound.
The Ke Nui Kitchen team is highly trained and qualified, they are passionate about food, and continue to hone their craft.
In Hawaiian, Ke Nui means “the long” or “the great”. Their vision is to bring a long lasting and great experience to every event.
